Cor Fijneman Rok 2003 to okres, w którym Cor Finjeman rozpoczął pochód przez świat muzyki. Poszukując odpowiedniego dla siebie stylu Cor wybrał, jak się później okazało całkiem trafnie, muzykę trance, której w różnych odmianach pozostał wierny do dnia dzisiejszego. W początkowym okresie swej pracy na swej drodze natrafił na Arny Bink'a i Tijs'a Verwest'a (szerzej znanego światu jako Tiesto). Poproszony przez tego drugiego o sporządzenie kilku melodii na potrzeby nowej produkcji nie zawiódł, co dało mu szanse na rozwój i zaowocowało tak znanymi produkcjami jak: Theme from Norefjell, Earth and Sparkles, które zostały wydane na całym świecie stając się klasykami muzyki trance.
W tym samym czasie Cor objął rezydenture w klubie Spock w rodzinnej Bredzie, gdzie jego cotygodniowe, sobotnie sety elektryzowały publiczność nieprzerwanie przez 4 lata. Ten okres spędzony na praktycznym szlifowaniu swoich umiejętności Cor spożytkował na dopracowywanie swojego kunsztu DJ'skiego dodając do niego elementy niespotykane u innych artystów. Latem 2002 roku Fijneman otrzymal od Black Hole Recordings propozyjcę zmixowania 5 cześci In Trance We Trust. Dla ciężko pracującego w tym czasie Fijnemana było to prawdziwe wyzwanie, z którego jednak wyszedł bez szwanku. Wręcz przeciwnie sprzedaż płyt na terenie Holandii, Norwegii, Grecji a nawet tak egzotycznych krajów jak Panama czy Kolumbia przeszła najśmielsze oczekiwania wydawnictwa, z miejsca stając sie bestsellerem sklepów muzycznych. Jako ciekawostkę można uznać fakt, iż dotychczas żadna z edycji In trance we trust nie pobiła edycji numer 5 pod względem ilości sprzedanych płyt. Wielki wyczyn Cor'a przysporzył mu nowych fanów na całym globie. W tym samym czasie młody Holender nie ograniczał się do współpracy z Tiesto, wydając nowe utwory z Threesome (Mohave/Gobi), DJ Montana (Groove Lounge Method) i Impact (Behind The Mirror).
Zimą 2002 roku Cor wydaje nowy album Outstanding, doskonale sprawdzający sie na imprezach. Mieszanka gorących utworów trance i hard trance rozbrzmiewa szerokim echem w całym kraju, dzięki szerokiej akcji promocyjnej w klubach. Wiosną 2003 Cor Fijneman wydaje nowy singiel, Venus (Meant To Be Your Lover), powstały w kooperacji ze znaną na całym świecie śpiewaczką Jan Johnston. To właśnie ten singiel utorował mu drogę do list przebojów na całym świecie, a tym samym do spragnionych muzyki serc klubowiczy. Ten niebywały sukces otworzył mu drogę do współpracy z takimi gwiazdami jak Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules a nawet Tiesto. Potwierdzeniem tego faktu jest to, iż utwór ten został wybrany do tracklisty jednego z największych wydarzeń muzycznych 2003 roku: Tiesto In Concert(10 maj 2003). Po tym wydarzeniu szczególnej wagi nabrały jego zdolności remixerskie, dzięki którym w ciągu najbliższych miesięcy udowodnił światu swoją wartość. Remixy dla Jurgen'a Vries'a, Lasgo, Andain'a czy Three Drives dowiodły jego klasy i wielokrotnie wykorzystywane były przez tak znanych twórców jak: Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Johan Gielen, Paul Oakenfold i Paul Van Dyk. Koniec roku 2003 przyniósł nie lada niespodziankę dla fanów Cor'a mianowicie zaistnienie na liście DJ Mag'a na 94 miejscu.

Mimo, iż wynik ten nie jest może imponujący a praktyka dowodzi iż najbardziej doceniani są DJ'e z pierwszej piątki Cor nie poddał się i ciągle pracując nad swoimi numerami. 2004 rok to kolejny sukces Healing, na krórej wokalnie udziela się Anita Kelsey, jazzowo-soulowa wokalistka znana z przeboju Shed My Skin, D*Note. Anita Kelsey jest jednym z najbardziej cenionych głosów angielskiego jazzu, znana z kooperacji ze Spice Girls, Jean Carne czy Bill'ym Wyman'em. Cor Fijneman jest rownież autorem hymnu TMF Awards in Belgium, zatytuowanego Don�t Break My Heart, a powstałego przy udziale ex członka 2Unlimited Romy. Jako profit Cor zaprezentował również godzinnego seta podczas tej uroczystości wyemitowanej w telewizji holenderskiej i belgijskiej. Pod koniec roku 2004 Cor otwiera własnego labela pod skrzydłami Black Hole Recordings. Nowy produkt o szumnej nazwie Outstanding ma za zadanie promować bardziej mroczne utwory Cor'a ocierające się o techno. Pierwsza 12 calówka Hot Wired/Fuzzball zostala wydana pod pseudo Silence The Sneak, który stał się wyborem i wspierany był przez Judge Jules, Marco V, Johan Gielen i Tiesto. Druga produkcja: San Andreas/San Pedro, koprodukcja z Jochen'em Miller'em odniosła spory sukces marketinowy, zapełniając playlisty Tiesto (Tiesto In Concert), Marco V, Paul van Dijk, Johan Gielen, Armin van Buuren i Judge Jules. Trzecia produkcja Outstanding powstała przy współpracy z hiszpańskim DJ'em Ray. W tej chwili Cor gra w klubach na całym świecie, także w tych najznamienitszych, najbardziej prestiżowych jak Cream Amnesia na Ibizie, Club Glow w Washingtonie, Godskitchen w Birmingham, The Gallery w London, The Matrixx w Nijmegen i Illusion w Lier. Wielokrotny uczestnik wielkich holenderskich festiwali jak Trance Energy, DanceValley, Mysteryland, Impulz, Lovefields czy Innercity a także na tych umiejscowionych poza granicami kraju tulipanów jak osławiony WEMF w Kanadzie, Lloret Outdoor w Hiszpanii, Illusion 16 Years w Belgii, Cream Digital Love w Anglii, Club Space w WMC Miami, Loveparade w Niemczech i wiele innych.

The year is 1993 when Cor Fijneman first puts ‘the needle on the record’.
Searching for a style that was melodic, Cor found this in trance music and that is the style he still plays today. In these years he got in contact with Arny Bink and Tijs Verwest. Tijs Verwest (also known as Tiësto) asked Cor to play some melodies for his new tunes and this collaboration resulted in trance classics such as Theme from Norefjell, Earth and Sparkles which were released worldwide.
At that time Cor was also asked to become resident at club Spock in his hometown Breda. In club Spock he played every Saturday night for 4 years and this was the base for the typical “Outstanding” style he still plays today: a mix of raw trance, techno and upfront electronic dance music like techhouse and even electro.

In the summer of 2000 Black Hole Recordings offered Cor Fijneman the opportunity to mix the 5th part of the In Trance We Trust series. This cd was sold all around the globe and resulted in some great gigs in Holland and in countries like Norway, Panama, Columbia and Greece. The number of gigs went even bigger after the release of In Trance We Trust 6 and Maxim Editions V1.0. Around this time Cor not only produced tracks with Tiësto but released some major tunes with Threesome (Mohave/Gobi), Dj Montana (Groove Lounge Method) and Impact (Behind The Mirror).

Winter 2002 saw the release of his new compilation album, Outstanding, a superb party mix of the hottest trance and harddance tunes around, complemented with a tour where Cor created mayhem across dance floors around the country. Spring 2003 Cor Fijneman released his single, Venus (Meant To Be Your Lover), a collaboration with acclaimed singer and trance diva Jan Johnston. With this hitsingle Cor Fijneman has entered charts around the globe and received support from dj’s like Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules and above all Tiësto. Most of all, this single was the theme of the illustrious and first Tiësto In Concert event, May 10th 2003. This resulted in many requests for remixes for acts like Jurgen Vries, Lasgo, Andain and Three Drives. These remixes proved to have the right sound and were supported by many dj’s like Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Johan Gielen, Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk. At the end of 2003 Cor Fijneman entered the Dj Mag Top 100 list at a respectable 94th place.
This list has been a definite goal for dj’s all around and has set standards because of the huge influence by the audience who visit the clubs and festivals in dance music and make this top 100 by sending in their 5 most appreciated dj’s. 2004 has seen the release of Cor’s Healing, featuring Anita Kelsey, a well respected soul and jazz vocalist known from the hitsingle Shed My Skin by D*Note. Anita Kelsey is one of the major voices in UK jazz and soul and she also performed with acts like Spice Girls, Jean Carne and Bill Wyman.
The following single, Don’t Break My Heart which featured ex-2Unlimited singer Romy had become the official theme for the TMF Awards in Belgium.
Cor has done an exclusive one hour show at the same Awards Show which was live broadcasted in Holland and Belgium.
Late 2004 Cor Fijneman started his own label at Black Hole Recordings; Outstanding.
Outstanding is a label for Cor’s own more darker and techno influenced productions, the first 12” Hot Wired/Fuzzball was released under Cor’s alias Silence The Sneak and was supported by dj’s like Judge Jules (featured on his mix compilation), Marco V, Johan Gielen and Tiësto.
The second release; San Andreas/San Pedro, a co-production with Jochen Miller was a huge follow-up and extremely successful.
San Andreas/San Pedro was on the playlists of Tiësto (who played it at his Tiësto In Concert events), Marco V, Paul van Dijk, Armin van Buuren and Judge Jules.
The third release on Cor’s Outstanding label was a track of Spanish producer Dj Ray and will also feature a Cor Fijneman remix.

Spring 2005 saw the release of Cor Fijneman’s first official artist album; Monologue.
It’s the result of over ten years of hard work and is released on Cor’s own label within Black Hole Recordings, Outstanding.
The album contains two cd’s, besides the artist album it also features an exclusive mix featuring old and new tracks from his own Outstanding label.
The mix has been created in a radio setting since Cor Fijneman presents his own Outstanding Radio Show on ETN.FM and Belgian national radio.
End of 2005 received a nomination for best foreign dj for the Belgian TMF Awards, Cor Fijneman was nominated with Armand van Helden, Roger Sanchez and Tiësto.

By now Cor has played in clubs all over the world these last years, just a few examples are Cream Amnesia Ibiza, Club Glow Washington DC, Godskitchen Birmingham, The Gallery London, The Matrixx Nijmegen and Illusion Lier. Besides these venues Cor played not only at all the major festivals in Holland like Trance Energy, DanceValley, Mysteryland, Impulz, Lovefields and Innercity but also at festivals outside Holland like WEMF Canada, Lloret Outdoor Spain, Illusion 16 Years Belgium, Cream Digital Love United Kingdom, Club Space WMC Miami, Loveparade Germany.
