Sander Ketelaars, to prawdziwe imię i nazwisko tego artysty. Urodził się w holenderskim mieście Eindhoven, 28 lutego 1979 r. Ten 27 letni artysta przez lata pracował na swój wizerunek, swój oryginalny styl. Dziś można stwierdzić, że udało mu się być nie tylko oryginalnym, ale zdołał również wykreować własny styl muzyczny, który znalazł sporą liczbę odbiorców. Sam Sharp, Purple Haze, Sandler – to najważniejsze i najbardziej znane aliasy tego młodego artysty. Jego produkcje to przede wszystkim mocne klubowe brzmienia. Do najbardziej rozpowszechnionych i udanych produkcji Sandera należą m.in. “AKA” “Dark Roast”, “Bling Bling”, “Adrenaline”, “Eden/Rush”, “Hoover/Craft”, “Loaded”, “Punk'd”, “Deep (In-Deep)” oraz “Error”. Sukcesy jego autorskich produkcji pociągnęły za sobą liczne propozycje zremiksowania produkcji od innych wielkich producentów. Rok 2005 był przełomowy dla Sandera. Występy na żywo, sukcesy w sprzedaży płyt oraz wspaniałe produkcje, mocno zatrzęsły światem klubowym, wszystko to przełożyło się na stale rosnące zainteresowanie jego osobą. Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Tiesto… grali i zapewne będą grać w przyszłości produkcje Sandera. Rok 2005 Sander zamknął najlepiej jak tylko mógł. Wydanie limitowanej płyty CD, a następnie vinyla - „TBA – SOS” było wielkim wydarzeniem. Sukces tej produkcji bazował przede wszystkim na wspaniałym vocalu Stinga, podrasowanym brzmieniami Sandera. Jego ostatnie produkcje to Sander Van Doorn – Pumpkin, oraz wspaniały remiks wykonany dla Armin van Buuren'a – Controlfreak. Rok 2006 dla Sandera zapowiada się nadzwyczaj interesująco. Wielkie eventy takie jak: Dance Valley, Gigidance,Godskitchen’s Festivals, Global Gathering, będą dla niego ukoronowaniem dotychczasowej pracy oraz mobilizacją do rozwijania i kształtowania muzyki elektronicznej.

We won’t bore you with the AB and C of Sander Van Doorn. If you haven’t heard of him by now, then you’re probably about to miss the boat. Sander Van Doorn, the 27 year old from Eindhoven in Holland is the future!

Sander Van Doorn is a DJ/Producer in a league of his own. With production alias such as Sam Sharp, Purple Haze and Sandler, he has grafted for years, but his time has come, his time is now. Everything Sander does is watched with bated breath. Every single one of his original productions such as club anthems like “AKA” “Dark Roast” “Bling Bling” “Adrenaline” “Eden/Rush” “Hoover/Craft” and “Error” are supported by the godfathers of dance that include Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Tiesto and the list goes on….

The one record that turned all the attention onto Sander was his rework or The Police “Message in a bottle”. From a limited number of CDR’s for the A-list DJ’s titled “TBA - SOS” this rework became one of the biggest productions of 2005, a huge festival track and a euphoric club anthem. This rework became an official remix on the Filterfunk pack that hit #1 in dance charts throughout Europe where it stayed for almost a month!

His remixes have gained the same recognition, remixing in the past for the likes of Robbie Rivera, Matt Darey, Randy Katana, Mode Hookers (Sebastian Ingrosso & Steve Angello) and Blank & Jones to latest remixes of TDR “Squelch” to the monster Armin Van Buuren “Control Freak”.

2005 was the year when Sander took his deck wizardry and unique versatile sound to UK clubs such as Turnmills, Godskitchen, Slinky and Inside Out. He was tried, tested and verified as the man to watch in 2006. Not only was Sander tipped by the clubbers but Armin Van Burren had Sander as his choice of “Breakthrough DJ of 2006” in the prestigious Top 100 DJ Mag issue.

All this success was capped in December 2005 when Sander was asked to fly to London to take part in one of the most exciting photo shoots any breakthrough artist can be involved in…..Sander Van Doorn became one of Mixmag’s future heroes of 2006 – acknowledging him as the headliner of tomorrow!

We’re now into 2006 and Sander Van Doorn’s diary reads like the departure board at LAX. He is back at the aforementioned clubs throughout 2006 and is featured as a main arena DJ at summer festivals world-wide such as Dance Valley, Gigidance and all of Godskitchen’s Festivals, Global Gathering, HI-Fi & Escape into the park, with PVD, Armin, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Marco V.

Across the Atlantic and people are literally fighting for Van Doorn. So far, Sander will export his magic to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Canada wide, and that’s before we even start looking for work! In Europe, Ibiza, Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, Finland, Lebanon, Czech Republic and Greece have all secured a piece of the action, with more to be confirmed over the forthcoming months.
